My name is Dr Alexandra Dold, but everyone just calls me Alex. I’m a public historian, literary scholar, public speaker and tour guide with a passion for bringing the past to life. I also consult on historical fiction.

My area of expertise is how history is presented in historical fiction and I have done lots of research on Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series.
